Founder's Story
Hi! I’m Ms. Adriana!
I’m the founder of Scholar Advise, and this journey started with a simple truth: I didn’t always have the tools I needed to succeed.

From early on, I was determined to build a bright future even when I didn’t have all the answers. I knew I wanted to dream big, so I asked questions, sought out support, and studied the students who were achieving the results I aspired to. With the help of mentors and teachers, I learned how to build what my BHS principal called “international currency” - those measurable achievements that open doors: top exam results, leadership roles, and standout accomplishments.​
My academic path took many turns. After graduating from Purvis Primary, I spent two eye-opening years at Warwick Academy that reshaped my worldview. I realized that education was more than just a requirement: it was a gateway to opportunity. That mindset pushed me to excel, eventually earning 8 grade A IGCSEs at Cedar Bridge Academy.
A life-changing anonymous donation and several scholarships made it possible for me to attend BHS to take on the challenging International Baccalaureate (IB) program. I dove into Higher Level Mathematics, Economics, and Business—and graduated with 40 out of 45 IB points. Another miracle followed when I was awarded the AXA XL scholarship to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Risk & Insurance at St. John's University (SJU).​

At SJU, I maintained a 4.0 GPA, passed three actuarial exams, studied abroad in Italy, and even traveled across Europe exploring the global insurance industry. But one of my proudest accomplishments has been helping hundreds of students as a Mathematics tutor at The Center for Student Success.
With over 7 years of experience in tutoring Scholar Advise was born when I returned home from university. This is a space where students are met with strategy, mentorship, and encouragement. Here, we focus on more than just grades. We focus on building confidence, cultivating excellence, and preparing students to succeed in academics and in life. Because every child deserves the tools to create their own “international currency”—no matter where they start.​
